I wonder why doctors/ dentists do not recommend flossing to their patients. I consider it as a professional negligence as it is their duty to teach their patients about dental hygiene.

Dentists will fill your teeth with some material and can advise root canal but they forget to tell about the dental flossing.

They don’t guide patients about the importance of flossing. They may fear a decrease in their income if they do so.

A dentist who does not recommend dental flossing is not a professional in my opinion. He may be some technician or other non professional but not a professional
