Comfortably off (Idiom) - English Lecture

209 1 2

Comfortably off is an idiom. When I say, I am comfortably off, it means that I have enough money and I can buy whatever I want. I don’t need to take any tension while buying something in this case.
It means I do not consider the cost of the things. (I am able enough to buy the stuff).

Examples:

I am not rich, but I am comfortably off.

Idioms are an integral part of written English and one must master this section of ‘’English Language’’.
Idioms can be of great help to you in times when you are not allowed to cross a word count limit.

I shall try to continue writing in this connection whenever I find some spare time. My intention would be to improve my own English by doing so. I would encourage others to do the same as it enhances our skills.
